How to Observe Special Stars

Star's are not just points of light to the amateur astronomer. Some are observable binary, trinary or other multi-star systems. Others are of differing colours or types and are fascinating in their own right.

A pair of binoculars will be able to split some multi-star systems, while a small telescope can show you the unique colours of some of the stars in the night sky.
