The Andromeda constellation is located in the sky of the northern hemisphere, between Cassiopeia and the Pegasus. This constellation is a large constellation, with three main stars with magnitude 2.1
This constellation is named after the beautiful princess who was chained to a rock on the seashore to await the arrival of a monster. Though fortunately for her the dauntless hero Perseus arrived first.
Technically you don't need any equipment at all to see Andromeda! However, to see the fainter stars in the constellation, especially from a light-polluted location would require a good pair of binoculars.
