An open cluster is a loosely bound together group of stars and there are three easy to find open clusters in the Summer Triangle: M29, M56 and M71.
There are three beautiful clusters visible in the summer triangle asterism. Join us as we take you on a tour of each cluster showing you what they look like and how to find them.
Binoculars will show you the clusters in the Summer Triangle but you will need a telescope to start resolving more of the individual stars that make up the clusters.
